
Atlantis Events Website
Since 1990, Atlantis Events has provided high quality all-gay vacations, tours and cruises carefully tailored to the gay and lesbian community's tastes and interests. They have evolved into the industry leader and are the largest company specializing in all-gay vacations.
BACKGROUND:
The Atlantis website was functioning as an online brochure for Atlantis for years. Over time it had become densely packed with information, creating pages that were difficult to parse and content that lacked emphasis and impact. It also didn't reflect the industry leadership position of the Atlantis brand and the special quality and experience found on an Atlantis tour or cruise. The site was in need of a complete refresh.
THE SOLUTION:
For this site redesign, 15 letters enlisted the help of users and tested the Atlantis Events website. Based on information that was uncovered in testing, 15 letters defined a new navigation system and information hierarchy for the website, making the website more navigable as well as reducing the complexity of individual page designs. We used strong visual elements to help users find the information quickly, as well as bold and provocative high-quality imagery and videos of actual Atlantis customers to create authenticity and communicate the difference of an Atlantis Events experience.
